Line Rental Info

Many home phone suppliers will require you to have a BT phone line. Of these, some offer line rental packages, but with some you'll have to keep paying line rental charges to BT (£11.25 a month when you sign-up to paper-free billing and Direct Debit).

If you decide to switch your line rental to another company, the only change you'll see will be on your bills - switching is a simple process and doesn't involve new wires or installation of a new system, unless you're switching to a cable company (such as VirginMedia, formerly ntl:telewest).
