Looking for a new business phone package for your company? You could save a packet on your bills by switching to a cheaper deal with another provider.

If you’re considering switching your company’s landline service, there are plenty of business phone options to choose from.

Decide what’s most important for your company - whether you want free calls to mobiles, discounted calls to international destinations or inclusive broadband - then compare packages and sign-up for one that best suits your needs.

BT business phone packages

As the UK’s largest business phone package provider, BT (0808 189 1332), offers a range of different tariffs to meet the needs of all types of business, from those who are self employed and work from home to those who manage an SME with a larger number of employees.

Getting a BT business phone package means you can “bundle” your services

One main advantage of getting a BT business phone package is the ability to “bundle” your services. You could sign-up for a business landline and broadband deal with additional lines (ideal for larger companies), or opt for BT Openzone wireless minutes if you take a BT business mobile phone contract.

For companies signing up for a phone and broadband bundled deal, BT also provides web hosting, networking services, business telecoms equipment and IT services.

Primus business phone packages

Primus (0800 036 0122) offers cheap line rental and call tariffs for businesses, and could help your company dramatically reduce its monthly outgoings. Primus promises to charge 52% less for UK local calls and 35% less for calls to mobiles, compared to major providers like BT.

International calls can also be cheaper with Primus, as it gives all of its business customers Indirect Access codes. These route calls through the Primus global network via your current phone supplier, providing you with a cheaper way of calling landlines both in the UK and abroad, without switching your line rental - which is handy if you’re locked into a contract.

TalkTalk Business phone packages

TalkTalk Business (0800 542 6900) is the business telecoms arm of the Carphone Warehouse. It provides business phone packages to more than 100,000 businesses in the UK, many of whom decide to bundle their broadband with TalkTalk Business too.

As well as broadband and landline options, TalkTalk Business offers mobile phones and mobile broadband deals, plus a range of add-ons, which could help tailor your business phone package to better suit your needs.

And if your business needs a new line, TalkTalk Business can help you save £130 with its free landline installation offer. By simply signing up to one of TalkTalk Business’ business phone and broadband bundles, your company will qualify for the free landline installation.

Eclipse business phone packages

Eclipse (0800 156 0516) business phone customers can get a range of services with their package. These include business broadband with web hosting and email, and phone and mobile data security applications.

Business phone subscribers will also get a dedicated customer support service; Eclipse says it aims to answer all calls within 60 seconds and fix any problems first-time, so you won’t have to call back.

Your company could save money on local, mobile and international calls with the Eclipse TalkMore Business tariff, the telephone service that is exclusive to its business broadband customers. It’s easy to switch your phone to this service, and you’ll be able to keep your BT phone line and number, but your calls will be billed by Eclipse.
