TalkTalk (www.talktalk.co.uk) offers two calling plans for customers seeking a new landline. Customers also get a broad range of extras, including free intecalls.

TalkTalk is one of the UK's largest home phone and broadband providers. It offers a range of landline-only and landline with broadband packages. Take a look at the table below for more information:

Choosing a calling plan

TalkTalk now offers two calling plans, one with free evening and weekend calls and another with free anytime calls to UK landlines.

You can choose between keeping your BT phone line (if you have one) or switching your landline and calls over to TalkTalk. A minimum 12-month contract applies for all TalkTalk’s call packages and line rental.

Talk UK Evening & Weekend includes:

Free calls to UK landlines in the evenings and at weekends
Free anytime calls to other UK TalkTalk customers
Free international calls to 36 countries in the evenings and at weekends.

Talk UK Anytime includes:

Free anytime calls to to UK landlines
Free international calls to 36 countries at anytime.

If you want a phone and broadand bundle, you should consider TalkTalk Essentials, which comes with 24Mb broadband and a large 40GB monthly download allowance.

Why get a TalkTalk landline?

TalkTalk landline costs are cheaper than BT (www.bt.com). Its line rental costs £13.80 a month for customers paying by direct debit with paperless billing, or £1.45 extra a month for paper billing.

TalkTalk customers will also earn Nectar points on every TalkTalk bill (2 points per £1 spent.

Why does TalkTalk not honour Post Office International Calling Cards. ? Since when was this ruling made. I am using AOL/TalkTalk broadband and premier package for internation calls to selected countries but not able to use International Phone Cards for countries not included in package deal. i have been a customer with talk talk for years. approx nov 2008 i was told i had broadband fro them.. conected and disconnected at my home. I was billed for this even though i didnt want it. I was then registered as a new customer when it was sorted out. So then, when i leave talk talkj as i moved home. i was subsequently billed for breaking my new contract... joke . - Feb 22 2010 10:33AM

A very unsatisfied customer
Promised a router 8 days ago to be told today there is no sign of this in my account. All communication via India is most unsatisfactory. The line to the internet keeps disconnecting and i have had all sorts of responses from talk Talk . End result my line still keeps disconnecting. Was a customer of tiscali now a customer with Talk Talk.
I ahve recently via India been promised a router over 8 days ago.Phoned again this am via India and you have not sent it. Now been promised anotherrouter in two days time

My internet keeps disconnecting. i ahve phoned about this on several occasions. it would be absolutely wonderful to speak to some one in the Uk. All gets lost in translation. Now have been promised a call from a technician

I registered with you a while ago and recently joined your broadband service but am being charged more than £6.50 for it. When I asked why I was being charged a higher fee I was given some story about not being able to. - Jan 22 2010 8:13PM

In Dec 2009 I signed up to talk evening & weekend phone package. Despitespending nearly 60mins on the phone I am unable to access my account. Initially I did not have a password and then when I was issued with a temp one I was told my email address was not valid. Not a good start I am still awaiting resolution of my problem - Jan 4 2010 8:22PM

I would like to change over to Talk Talk for my tel calls but not sure about changing my line rental to them from BT, I think Talk Talk would charge me £85 call out + £55 an hour to fix any problem with the phone if I had a problem, Can you please tell me if this is correct? why should I pay again if there is a problem when I already pay £11.25 a month for the line? Please help as this is stopping me change from BT which I would like to do as they are more expensive for ther International calls. Kind regards Geraldine - Aug 21 2009 11:00AM
