Madasafish’s (www.madasafish.com) home phone packages combine line services, a competitively-priced call plan and a broadband service. Should you switch to Madasafish? (Updated 7/5/10)
Madasafish was established in 2001 and is a part of the Brightview Group, which was bought by BT in July 2007.
The company is know for its excellent customer service, and has received awards for its prompt, reliable support for its broadband customers.
Madasafish currently offers two packages that allow you to bundle your home phone and broadband services. These packages include calls and broadband.
The Madasafish Max Broadband and Talk Free package includes:
The Madasafish Max Broadband and Talk Anytime package includes:
With either of these home phone and broadband packages you will receive just one monthly bill from Madasafish, which includes your line rental, call charges and broadband package. And the company will deal with all aspects of your service, including any faults on the line.
With line rental at £11.25 a month, Madasafish Talk provides you with a simple and easy way to save money on your home phone and broadband bills.
Its phone packages include free calls at anytime to all other Madasafish Talk customers. And you'll also get 300 minutes to call 20 top international destinations, though the time you can make these free calls will depend which package you are on.
Like many other providers, you must pay your monthly bills by direct debit, and receive your bills via email.
Switching your home phone and broadband services to Madasafish is really simple, and can be done in minutes. If you already have an active phone line, there will be no interruption to service, and in most cases you’ll be able to keep your existing phone number. The features you already have, such as caller ID, will stay the same, and you’ll also have exactly the same access to the operator and to emergency numbers.
The switch will be carried out at your local telephone exchange, so an engineer won’t need to visit your house, and Madasafish will tell your existing home phone provider (and broadband provider if these are different) that it will be billing you for your line rental, line services, calls and broadband in the future.
If you don’t have a phone line, or if you are currently a cable customer (i.e. with Virgin Media), Madasafish can arrange and manage the installation of a new line for you. This will cost £105.
