Want to save money on your phone bills by bundling your landline with your broadband? BE Broadband has unveiled its plans to launch a home phone service, letting its broadband customers save money on their line rental.
BE Broadband, a fast and reliable broadband provider, has announced its plans to enter the home phone market, and will be offering its customers line rental and calls packages “within the next six months.”
The cost and availability of its phone service will be confirmed nearer to the launch, however BE said customers will be able to bundle both their home phone and broadband, and will benefit from BE’s award-winning customer service.
Tom Williams, head of BE Broadband, said the launch of the home phone service has come after high levels of demand among customers, and revealed that a select group of BE Broadband subscribers will be trialling the new service before it is rolled out.
“By bringing the same quality and levels of customer service to a landline phone proposition, we hope to bring added value to customers who are already delighted with our broadband service,” added Williams.
BE Broadband currently offers three broadband packages: BE Value which costs £13.79 a month, BE Unlimited at £17.88 a month, and the BE Pro deal costing £21.97 a month and offering broadband speeds of up to 24Mb.
Simon Piper, business development manager at Homephonechoices.co.uk, said: “The news that BE Broadband is going to launch a home phone service doesn’t come as too much of a surprise after its parent company, O2, started offering its broadband customers discounted home phone and broadband bundles this week.”
Piper added: “It’ll be interesting to see how competitive BE’s prices are - many customers may be able to benefit from switching their phone service to BE.”
