Want to cut your bills? You could save on your monthly line rental with BT's Line Rental Saver tariff. Find out how it works and whether you qualify in the guide below...
Line Rental Saver from BT (www.bt.com) lets you save money on your phone bills by paying for one year's worth of line rental in advance. It costs just £129 for 12 months, which works out at just £10.75 a month. BT line rental usually costs £15.45 a month when you pay by monthly direct debit. This means you could save over £40 a year on your line rental.
To be eligible for Line Rental Saver, you have to make a certain number of calls to meet BT's "minimum call commitment". These could be either chargeable calls or inclusive calls. If you're billed monthly you'll need to make at least two calls a month. And if you're billed quarterly you'll need to make at least six calls every three months. Otherwise you'll be charged £1.50 a month (or £4.50 a quarter).
