If you’re looking to cut down your company’s monthly costs, consider switching to a 24Talk Business - a business phone provider that offers free line rental to all customers.

24Talk Business (0808 178 9431) is just one of a number of business phone providers in the UK. What makes 24Talk’s packages so attractive however, is its free line rental deal.

Switching your business’ telecommunications services to a package from 24Talk could save your company money on line rental, as well as calls to UK and international landlines. Find out more in our guide below:

About 24Talk Business

With over 10 years experience providing SMEs with telecoms services, 24Talk Business is the business arm of the Comms Factory Group - parent company of home phone provider YourCalls.net.

24Talk believes business telecommunications don’t have to be complicated

24Talk believes “telecommunications don’t have to be complicated,” and promises to deliver a simple solution aimed at saving your business money. The company was awarded the title of Fixed Service Provider of the Year in 2007 by the Federation of Communication Services (FCS) - the trade association for the communication services sector.

24Talk Business is a member of both the Telecommunications Ombudsman Service and the FCS.

Choosing a 24Talk Business phone package

24Talk Business offers two different business phone tariffs, both of which come with free line rental. The packages are designed to help your company save money on calls. Below are more details:

  1. 500 UK minutes - This is the cheapest business phone deal from 24Talk, and offers 500 minutes of calls to UK local and national landlines for just £14.99 a month per line (excl. VAT), to use at anytime of the day. It is an ideal package for a small business that wants to effectively manage its costs.

  2. Unlimited UK minutes - Small businesses should also consider this tariff, which is £19.99 a month per line (excl. VAT) and offers unlimited calls to UK landline 01, 02 and 03 numbers at anytime of the day.

24Talk Business also offers competitive rates for international calls and calls to mobiles, with international calls starting from 2.7p a minute, and mobiles costing from 9.55p a minute - an 18% saving compared to BT Business’ call rates.

Before switching your service to 24Talk however, you should call 0808 178 9431 and speak to an adviser who will help you choose a tariff that suits your company’s needs.

Why should my business switch to 24Talk?

24Talk Business guarantees that it will beat any quote from a rival business phone provider, so its customers have “complete peace of mind that they will always pay the lowest available price for their phone service”.

As well as the free line rental, one of the other main advantages of 24Talk’s phone service is its 24-hour UK-based account management. The Business Support Service is available for £1.95 a month (per line), and provides:

  • Weekday priority resolution (priority over 24Talk residential customers)
  • 24/7 fault diagnosis
  • UK-based customer service
  • An advanced call diversion service
  • One point of contact (a named troubleshooter to help with any problems you experience).

Your business’ phone lines will be installed, repaired and maintained by BT engineers, however 24Talk Business will deal with all other aspects of your service. So if you experience a fault on your phone line, you should report it to 24Talk, not BT.

What do I need to get a 24Talk business phone deal?

Switching your company’s phone service to 24Talk is really easy, and can be done over the phone by calling 0808 178 9431.

You will need an active BT phone line to switch to 24Talk - this doesn’t have to be a line provided by BT, but can be any supplier that uses the BT network, such as Primus Business.

The switch to 24Talk Business will be done at the local exchange, meaning an engineer won’t have to visit the property and there’ll be no interruption to your service.

Before applying to switch you should check whether you are in contract with your current supplier - if you are still within your minimum contract period you may need to pay a cancellation fee in order to switch.

24Talk will inform your existing supplier that it will be billing you for your business’ line rental and calls.

You must agree to pay your bills by monthly direct debit; however you can choose how you’d like to get your bills, either by email via online paperless billing or a paper bill in the post. Paper billing will cost an extra £1.50 a month, and it’s important to note that paper bills are not fully itemised. Should you decide to receive paper bills, these will only list calls that cost over 40p. Online paperless billing is free and is fully itemised.
