Primus' cheapest UK line rental deal extended

If you want the cheapest stand-alone monthly phone line rental and calls package in the UK, Primus has extended its £9.49 a month deal.

The UK arm of telecommunications giant Primus has joined forces with HomePhoneChoices.co.uk to extend its exclusive line rental and calls package offer until 30 September 2009.

The package – Britain’s cheapest - gives customers free unlimited evening and weekend calls to UK national and local landlines plus line rental for just £9.49 a month.

The deal knocks at least £1.50 off monthly line rental when compared to line rental from companies including BT (www.bt.com), Virgin and Sky.

Primus also offers a competitive deal for people who need an anytime calls package. The Home Phone Max package has line rental at £10.99 a month and anytime calls for £2.99 a month.

Geoff Pestell, product manager at Primus UK said he has had a massive response to the offer which kicked-off on 22 July.

Simon Piper, new business development manager at HomePhoneChoices.co.uk, said: “People are voting with their feet and taking steps to cut their monthly line rental. Our Primus deal offers the cheapest line rental in the UK.”

Piper added: “Anyone who’s never switched home phone providers should consider this deal, if they’re serious about saving money.”
