Primus Saver Plus is a “pay in advance” line rental tariff from home phone provider Primus (www.primussaver.co.uk). It costs just £99 for 12 months, which works out at £8.25 a month.
As well as your line rental, you’ll also get free weekend calls with Primus Saver Plus.
To be eligible for Primus Saver Plus, you must have an existing BT copper wire phone line. When you switch to Primus, in most instances you will be able to keep your current phone number.
If you haven’t got a telephone line, then Primus can install a new line in your home for just £59. This typically takes between 12 and 14 days.
You can save money on your phone bills by paying for a full year’s worth of line rental in advance. Primus Saver Plus costs £99 for 12 months, so it works out at just £8.25 a month.
BT line rental, however, costs £14.60 a month - so switching from BT to the Primus Saver Plus plan could save you over £60 a year.
And because you also get your free weekend calls with Primus Saver Plus, you could stand to save even more money.
To qualify for Primus Saver Plus, you must sign up for online paperless billing and pay for your calls - and any calling features you want - by monthly direct debit.
