Internet phone provider cuts the cost of four packages and throws in up to 17 new countries users can call as part of their package
Vonage has announced it is dropping its call rates and increasing the number of locations its customers can call inclusively as part their package.
The voice over internet protocol (VoIP) provider) is cutting the cost of its V Plan UK, V Plan 2, V Plan 3 and VPlan4i by £2-£3 a month each for a limited period.
The V-Plan 2, V-Plan 3 and V-Plan4i packages will also come with up to 17 additional countries that can be called for free as part of the package.
V-Plan UK, which gives users unlimited calls to UK landlines and unlimited Vonage-to-Vonage calls, previously for £5.99 a month, will now cost £3.99 a month for three months and £5.99 thereafter.
The V-Plan 2 and V-Plan 3, which include lower international rates and previously cost £8.99 and £10.99 a month respectively, will now cost £5.99 and £6.99 a month for the first three months, then £8.99 and £10.99 a month thereafter.
Finally, the V-Plan 4i, which includes calls to landlines in international destinations, will now cost £14.99 a month for the first six months, down from £18.99, reverting to the latter cost after six months.
The V-Plan 2, V-Plan 3 and V-Plan 4i, will now also incorporate 11, 17 and 14 new destinations respectively that users can call as part of their package, including China, Mexico and Russia.
The V-Plan 3 and V-Plan 4i now also come with three more inclusive mobile calling destinations - China, Puerto Rico and Thailand. The V-Plan-2 includes those three and Singapore.
