Broadband provider BE has revealed its plans to launch a home phone service later in the year, letting its subscribers save money on their line rental and calls.
BE broadband, a fast and reliable broadband provider, has told customers that it will launch its landline, line rental and calls service in September this year.
The cost and availability of its phone service will be confirmed nearer to the launch, however BE said that there will be an evening and weekend calls package available, as well as an unlimited calls deal which will include calls to 22 international destinations.
Tom Williams, head of BE, said the launch of the home phone service had come after high levels of demand among customers.
Earlier in the year, he said: “By bringing the same quality and levels of customer service to a landline phone proposition, we hope to bring added value to customers who are already delighted with our broadband service.”
The provider also confirmed that existing BE customers will benefit from one month’s free line rental when subscribing.
BE Broadband currently offers three broadband packages: BE Value which costs £13.79 a month, BE Unlimited at £17.88 a month, and the BE Pro deal costing £21.97 a month and offering broadband speeds of up to 24Mb.
Simon Piper, business development manager at Homephonechoices.co.uk, said: “When the service launches later in the year it’ll be interesting to see how competitive BE’s prices are - many customers may be able to benefit from switching their phone service to BE.”
