Looking to save money on your phone bills by bundling your landline with your broadband and TV? Sign-up for a BT bundle with Unlimited Anytime calls and get three months free.
BT (www.bt.com), the UK’s biggest home phone supplier is offering three months free subscription to all new customers signing up to a bundle with its Unlimited Anytime Calling Plan and broadband.
The deal, which is available exclusively online until 31 May, could save new customers as much as £146.97 if they sign-up to the top bundled package, Talk, Surf and Watch Unlimited, which normally costs £48.99 a month.
Simon Piper, business development manager at Homephonechoices.co.uk, said: “If you’re looking to save on your phone bills following the recent price hikes, this new offer could really help cut your costs, though you’ll have to be quick as the offer is only available until 31 May.”
There are several bundled packages on offer, all of which come with unlimited anytime calls:
Piper advises customers on a Weekend or Evening & Weekend calling plan who make a lot of calls during the day to consider whether switching to a bundle with an anytime calling plan would save them money, “particularly as BT has recently increased its prices”.
BT hiked its daytime call rates today, from 5.4p per minute to 5.9p per minute. BT’s call connection fee (a one-off cost that you pay per call, regardless of its duration) has also increased from 9.3p to 9.9p, meaning a 10 minute call during the day to a national or local landline will now cost 68.9p.
At the same time, the home phone giant also changed the time its free evening calls start, from 6pm to 7pm. The evening rate will now apply until 7am, rather than the previous 6am cut-off.
“If you’re worried about the price hikes or the evening calls time change, compare prices online and think about switching to a bundled package with the Anytime Calling Plan, for unlimited calls to UK local and national landlines at any time,” added Piper.
