Households looking to save money on their monthly bills should consider switching to O2, as the mobile phone provider launches a range of cheap home phone and broadband bundles.
Award-winning mobile phone and broadband provider O2 (www.o2.co.uk) is now offering home phone and broadband bundles, and all new customers will get three months free broadband, saving over £50.
If you’re an O2 mobile customer, you can now get O2’s Standard 8Mb broadband, unlimited evening and weekend calls and line rental from just £17 a month, with three months free broadband.
And existing O2 broadband customers can add line rental and unlimited evening and weekend calls to their package for just £9.50 extra a month - a saving of over £2 a month compared to line rental and evening calls from BT.
Sally Cowdry, O2’s UK marketing director, said: “This is the most important launch for us in the home space since we entered the broadband market and is part of our strategy to evolve beyond mobile to a leading connectivity brand.”
Cowdry promised that O2 home phone customers would receive the same high quality service that its mobile and broadband customers receive. She added: “We know how many of our customers value the convenience of paying for their home phone and broadband together with no hidden extra costs.”
If you’re looking for an anytime call plan so you can make unlimited calls to UK national and local landlines, you can upgrade your package at any time. You’ll get free calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers, free calls to over 20 international destinations and line rental all for £12.50 a month.
Simon Piper, business development manager at Homephonechoices.co.uk, said: “I believe many O2 mobile phone and broadband customers will look to switch their home phone service to O2 now, as its bundled packages are very competitive.”
O2’s broadband service has won numerous awards since it launched in 2007, including the most popular internet service provider award in the Broadbandchoices.co.uk latest customer satisfaction survey.
Piper added: “Existing O2 mobile customers will now be able to get a great deal on their other communications services, and have the added convenience of receiving only one monthly bill.”
