Primus cheapest UK line rental deal extended

Home phone provider Primus has extended its cheapest stand-alone monthly line rental offer until 30 November 2009.

Primus has extended its exclusive £9.49 a month line rental and calls package offer with Homephonechoices.co.uk until 30 November 2009.

The deal is the cheapest standalone line rental and calls package in the UK, and is £1.76 a month cheaper than line rental BT (www.bt.com).

Simon Piper, business development manager at Homephonechoices.co.uk, said: “Calling and connection costs are on the rise so getting the best home phone deal is more important than ever.

“We’ve extended the deadline on our Primus offer, so if you haven’t got round to signing-up yet, now’s your chance.”

The Home Phone Saver package from Primus gives customers line rental and free evening and weekend calls to UK national and local landlines for £9.49 a month - the cheapest in the UK.

And for customers who want a home phone deal with line rental and unlimited anytime calls, Primus also offers its Home Phone Max package, with line rental at £10.99 a month, and the calls package at £2.99.

The new line rental deal is available from until 30 November 2009, but is only available to customers that sign up online through Homephonechoices.co.uk.

The offer is not available to cable customers or customers on a BT light user scheme.

Tips for switching your line rental to Primus:

• Primus will take care of the entire switch, and contact your existing home phone supplier
• The whole switching process should take around 14 days.
