Plusnet makes 0845 and 0870 calls free

Cheap home phone and broadband provider Plusnet is now offering free calls to 0870 and 0845 numbers.

Plusnet (www.plus.net) will offer customers inclusive calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers from today.

Free calls to 0870 and 0845 numbers are dependent on your Plusnet calling plan and broadband package. Customers have a choice of two deals:

Customers on the evening and weekend calls package will get free 60 minute calls to all UK Landline calls to 01, 02 and 03, 0870 and 0845 numbers during the evening and at weekends, as well as anytime calls to other Plusnet home phone customers.

Plusnet customers on the anytime calls plan will get free 60 minute calls to the same numbers at anytime of the day.

However, customers should be aware that the free calls do not include numbers in Jersey and Guernsey, so if you call these numbers regularly it may be worth switching to a supplier that includes calls to the Channel Islands.

Plusnet line rental costs just £10.95 a month, cheaper than BT’s which is £11.25 a month.
