It has taken me all day Saturday 13th and until 3 p.m. on Sunday 14th August to get on line. I have this problem constantly and when I ring your help line I seem to be talking to robots who can only repeat certain sentences. One lady even suggested that I dismantle my computer and take it downstairs to try it. As you will appreciate I have given up ringing for assistance. I am now looking at other options with different broadband companies. - Aug 14 2011 3:20PM

PIPEX can't fix the fault on my phone line after the third report of incorrect ringing that results in important calls being missed Previous reports identified the fault exists when tests are carried out with no domestic connection at the primary box (ie nothing physically connected inside the house so the fault is outside of the house). Now the fault has occurred again and "customer support” (a term for someone reading from a script whilst sitting in another country in order to save money and maximize profitable return for directors at the expense of true workers and customers) informed me that I’d be charged for works. As the fault occurs when none of my phones are connected and with new telephones, I feel strongly I will not be paying any charges. It has reached the point where I feel I should find an alternative service provider at the earliest opportunity if PIPEX are incapable of maintaining a consistent service. - Jul 7 2011 11:20PM

We have a telephone line with Pipex and have been approached by Talk Talk to purchase their Essentials package. Our Broadband is provided by AOL at present. We initially agreed on the package, the lady on the telephone said that both Pipex and AOL we now Talk Talk. ls this correct? We then tried to cancel the Essentials package as the timing was inconvenient with our leaving the country for a few weeks. We phoned Talk Talk and the call was put on hold for 20 minutes, at our cost and frustration, when we gave up. We have now e-mailed Talk Talk via their website and cancelled the order. We hope to receive confirmation of this but are very doubtful of their efficiency. Do we have to change to another provider for the telephone line (we have no contract and have been with Pipex for many years), or will the line be switched automatically and at the same charge? We have had no correspondence from Pipex! - May 30 2010 6:18PM

Why are we going to be charged for a connection fee and also pre-warned that we will probably have to pay a disconnection fee when its Talk Talk that have taken over Pipex and nothing that we as customers could have prevented ?? Also we havent yet had any correspondence from Pipex to even tell us that they have been *bought out* by Talk Talk. ??????
Could you please advise on the above ????
